This 40-acre commercial property located at QEW and McLeod Road was acquired and redeveloped as a retail shopping centre. Located at a prominent interchange, 35 acres of the site were later sold to SmartCentres Incorporated for the development of a 185,000 sq. ft. Walmart Supercentre and additional big box retail uses. The remaining five acres were divided into three parcels and sold to McDonald’s, Petro-Canada, and a future retail user.
