Lakeshore Plaza
Mississauga, Ontario
Two adjacent properties were acquired on the north side of Lakeshore Road, west of Clarkson Road in the quaint strip of west Mississauga known as “Clarkson Village”. Development approvals were secured for a 54,000 sq.ft. retail plaza and the project was sold. The property was initially tenanted by a large grocery store, drug store and ancillary tenants. Over time the tenant mix changed when the much larger “Clarkson Crossing” project was constructed only one mile away. The food/drug anchors moved to the competing shopping centre and the Lakeshore Plaza underwent a re-merchandising plan whereby Home Sense and McDonald’s are its current anchor stores.
